Big Fun @ The O.E.

Posted by Michael Locke

Can you say chug? Well, I met a whole room full of crazy ,fun, people who could!

As Always, Thanks to the Jammers for their support. You were in rare form!

I would like to thank everyone for their interest in the CD release party, New CD, New T shirt, Poster, etc…

I hope everyone can get a ticket for the Party at Gillys May 4th?

Last week, I posted a video of us recording one of the songs from the New CD. This week I’m going to give everyone one of the songs. I think you will be able to listen, and download for free? If not, let me know. I’ll make it work. This song is really cool, because Tommy Dequattro from Duke Robillard’s old Pleasure Kings band is playing drums. He is a great guy, and as you will hear on the CD a great drummer.

Here is one of the songs from the new CD. It’s called Pleasure King.

I hope you dig it! (click on Pleasure King)

pleasure-king

Thanks again! Oh yea, If you have any comments, or just want to say hi, please do!!

From the Heart!

Michael

PS- Don’t forget the Dayton Guitar Show this Sun. We have a link for more info.

CD Release Party

Posted by Michael Locke

Hi Everyone!

Since you keep coming back to the site, I think I’ll call you the “Repeat Offenders” from now on? What ya think?

I promised I would up date the site often, so you can count on at least once a week if not more. So, to make sure your seeing the latest blog be sure and hit the refresh button often!

We are having several CD release party’s. The first one is at Gilly’s in Dayton Ohio on May 4th at 6PM.

This will be the 1st gig I’ve done with my longtime friend “One Night Stan” Waldman from the Night Stalkers Band in over 7 years.  He is flying in from Florida the same day. He is an Amazing Sax Player! Although he will be doing all the CD release parties with me, this will be the only chance to see him play in Dayton. Also on the gig will be Reece Lincoln, Keith Cozart,  & Mike Jordan. There are several special guest players from the Dayton, Cinci area I’ll announce later. You can get advance tickets from me, or at the door the day of the show. (unless we sell out).

Several people have asked about the shows in Nashville, & Indi…. I recommend that you don’t miss these shows, as Its my first time playing in Nashville and there are going to be several Celebs flying in from different parts of the country. Please call these venues to make sure you can still get in, before you make the trip.

Also, I want to give away as much stuff as I can, and still almost make a living. So, I’m going to pick 1 or 2 songs from the new CD and post them on the site for free. Please let me know what ya think when you hear them. It should be a few days or so before their up.

Below is a clip of us recording one of the Germantown songs from the CD. (click on the link)

Talk to ya soon!

As Always,

From the heart,

Michael

Welcome To The New Web Site

Posted by Michael Locke

Hello Everyone!

And, Thanks for stopping by!

This is the first week of our new interactive web site, and there is alot of new things going on. So, lets get started !

First, If your like I am, and your not to sure what a blog page is? Well, this is one. Basically, it means you and I can interact right here on the front page of this site. I’ll post new information, songs, pictures etc…then you can respond by leaving comments, pictures, etc…Sounds like a Blast!

We will be doing updates on a weekly if not daily basis. If your really hip to this stuff, and I know most of you are. You can RSS the site, and you will be notified as soon as anything new is posted.

Ok, we’ve got the tech stuff out of the way, now on to the band info.

The new CD is being pressed right now, along with 2nd & 3rd pressing of “You Done Did It” & “Get Offended - Live”.

A new Michael Locke T shirt designed by American Fighter (Thanks guys!) is being made as we speak. Really coooool design.

The new CD is a compilation of studio recordings from San Francisco, Florida, & Ohio. It has many special guests including Johnny Nitro, Tommy Castro, Stan Waldman, Tommy DeQuattro and many more. I will be posting some of the songs on the site for free, for Everyone. Hope you enjoy the music as much as I did making it. Oh yea, you can let me know. Just hit the comment button!

I’m not sure if most of you would prefer to have digital downloads of the new CD or an old fashioned disc in a jewel case? So, I’m only going to press a limited amount of CDs (500). Unless I get a ton of pre orders.

You guys decide!!

We are planning CD release party’s in the month of May in Ohio at Gillys in Dayton, in Nashville TN at The Burbon St Blues & Boogie Bar, and in Indianapolis, IN at The Slippery Noodle.

I hope everyone can get out to see us several times this year. Please let me know what you think of the new CD, T Shirt, & Web site. Remember, stay tuned, this page will be changing often!!

Thanks Again for stopping by.

From the Heart!

Michael
