Great Blues & Nice Guys!

Hi Repeat Offenders everywhere.

World Trade Center divx The last couple of weeks I’ve been having a blast! The Blues jam has been going really well. This past week Keith Cozart from the Doug Hart band sat in , as well as Tom Rastikis(Happy B Day Tom), Deano, Gerald, Tom, and many others. I’m starting to book some Southeast tour dates, and getting ready to go to Michigan the end of the month. Also, I was very fortunate to be able to sit in with The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruse (Tommy Castro, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Magic Dick, DeAnna Bogart, as well as the Tommy Castro Band) in Indiana at The Key Palace Theatre in Red Key as well as at The Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis IN.

Thanks again to Tommy Castro & The band. They always make me feel like family.

UD Blues Guitar Class visits OE Jam!

We had a blast last night at the jam in Dayton. New Thursday night Drummer Steve Keith tore it up! What a Great feel he has. Thanks Steve.

We also met some new friends, that are taking blues guitar at UD under Jim McCutcheon. Very lucky students indeed. Maybe they can organize a school field trip next time and bring the whole class? Thanks for hanging with us. Good luck with your class!

In case you’ve been missing it, The Blues Jam is getting bigger & better. Check it out on Thursdays in Dayton!

I have finally thawed out from the winter ice , and have started booking gigs again. If your in Michigan in April, or want to take a road trip, please come out to the shows we will be doing at the college. “Animal House party” but better!!

Also, This week, The featured player of the week will be two fold. Mike Safreed, & his amps. Mike has been coming out to the jams from the start. Mike is a very experienced player,as well as the nicest guy. Mike has built his own amps (that he sells as well), and is a great repair man(if you need help).

Dayton Jams! Florida Rocks!!

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from doing several shows in South Florida. The first was in Hollywood FL at The Flickerlight. It was a real blast being able to play with Stan, Vinnie, & Ron in front of all my friends. As well as having special quest vocalist Ted Vernon sit in for a few. The second show was an over the top, crazy, Rasta wedding, with a hurricane theme. It was a special day for me to be able to play with the groom, Bret Barry(he tore the guitar up on Wild Thing, then brought the heavens down when he played Chicken Fried Snake) Literally, It started pourin’! Congrads to Karen & Bret. Thanks for having us be part of your special day. (if you were part of the fun in Hollywood or at the wedding, or for that matter, just want to say hello. Thursday night I’ll be at The Oregon Express as usual jamming with the Repeat Offenders. This Sun will be Blue Sunday , which means The Dayton Blues Society will be having Its Meeting and Jam session at the Oregon Express. Starts at 6ish. Guess who the host band is? The Repeat Offenders! Just a quick hello, with some new pictures from the jam session at the Oregon Express, as well as some pictures sent in from Missy. (Thanks!).

If you’re in the Dayton, OH area please come out and be part of our Jam sessions on Thursday nights. It’s now the longest running jam session in Dayton. (4 1/2 years) We have some great players you don’t want to miss. Last night DeRosa, and David Keith, as well as Gale, & Gerald, and Daryl sat in with The Repeat Offenders (Mike Jordan, Marty Romie, & Joe Prescott ) They were Great!!

Next week I’ll be crankin at The OE on Thursday, then flying to Florida to play at The Flickerlite in Hollywood on Halloween. Then, playing at Rasta Karen’s Wedding in West Palm Beach on Sat. the 1st of Nov.
